About us

The project of the Center for Digital Technologies of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava aims to expand and improve the quality of teaching in the study programs at the Faculty of Arts of the UO. Students can get acquainted with the work processes and forms of project implementation using digital technologies. This ranges from acquiring input data on a large-format scanner and 3D scanner, through data processing and preparation for output, to the final realization of the project depending on its nature – 2D UV printing, laser printing up to SRA3 format, 3D printing, animation, video, mapping, and also combinations of these forms. The CDT is also available to the general public for the realization of projects within the available spectrum of digital technologies.
